Plaza By The Park
Went to Plaza By The Park todae to sample out a new makan outlet - Baccarat (or whatever it's spelled)
Per Pax: $38+++
The food there was in mini servings (imagine your usual sushi , those @ baccarat are like 40% - 50% of the usual size)
In the place... you can divide it into 4 sections.
Section 1: Japanese Food
Section 2: Pastas
Section 3: Dim Sums and Chinese Food
Section 4: After meal stuff (drinks, cakes, CHOCOLATE FONDUE)
Well, although we're paying like 38+++ per pax (actually, it's on promotion. 1 for 1, you pay 38+++ for 2pax instead of the usual 1 ) the food there SUX big time.
they can't even beat sakura (who's like chargin 20bucks per pax and have WAY more varity then them, and taste better too) in my personal opinion.
still, to make the money worth, we ate from 12noon to 4pm (oops),
afterwhich walk horse see light (shopping la) @ bugis area
Still, i SHALL not go to baccarat again.. becoz their food is so-so and the price is SKY HIGH.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
Went to see this movie TODAY.
Waring: Spoilers BELOW.
Was quite different from what i enticipated....
First, the Movie was kinda Short, with most of the scene being 'Fast Forward'
Secondly, they made Dumblydorr looks like a jerk when he grabbed harry by the neck ... that was so.... UN Dumblydorr like.
Thirdly, They made hermione go gu gu ga ga over that krum guy (and a chao botak one) which his pattern reminds me of the Nazis
Forth, Voldemort look so cartoon.... not the least bit scary, but what's with the nose dude.. he looks like he could use a good nose job.
the whole movie look rush... but there was it's good stuff also...
like the battle with the dragon, the CGS on this show, and other bits and pieces that unfold together...
good effort for the show.. but HP fans would prefered if they can STICK to the STORY as close as possible!
